Are contact details required, and who sees them?

You can make a report without giving your name, email address or phone number.

Save your report first

We only ask for contact details after saving. You can leave the page and your report remains saved. For updates, provide your name and an email address or phone number. You can provide both.

What can other visitors see?

The map shows the type of problem, status and approximate location. Your exact address, own text, photo and contact details are not shown there.

What are the details for?

Contact details are intended for communication about your report. We save your details for communication about your report. Sending updates is still in development. Photos are stored privately. Access for council staff still needs to be developed.

What can you do?

Do not put names or personal details in your description. Avoid recognisable people in photos and check for visible addresses on letters. A photo is optional.

Location services

Map images come from OpenStreetMap. Address searches use PDOK and send your search query to that service. You choose whether your browser can access your location. This article explains the reporting feature; it is not a full privacy notice.
